Facility Design and Engineering Support

BTR was recently engaged by a long-standing customer to design the electrical and automation systems for a new processing facility. The facility will process bio-solids from municipal waste water treatment plants to create an agricultural class A fertilizer. The project scope involved realizing the customers concept to a full set of tender ready drawings and specifications.

BTR was responsible for co-ordinating with the local electrical supply authority to design the high voltage primary service complete with 100% stand-by generation, electrical site works, electrical distribution within the facility, all control panels and process control as well as network and communication systems. The project went to tender successfully and is currently moving to the construction phase.
